PASSPORT & VISA
"The valid passport and entry visa approval prior to arriving in the kingdom are essential.

Those who have not had visa approval will not be permitted to board their Drukair flight to Bhutan."

    
         
 

The visa clearance will be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Thimphu and must be obtained before departure to Bhutan. Visa is processed and arranged by Bhutan Everest Tours and Treks. No foreign mission abroad grants Bhutan tourists visa.

Actual visa is stamped on your passport on arrival in Bhutan with a visa fee of US$ 20. For all travelers, entering Bhutan by Druk Air, the visa clearance is forwarded to concerned overseas Druk Air stations prior to your arrival.
